Internet Connection And Browser Problems
1. Browser problem
Some time, your browser doesn’t work properly and your internet can be slow. So you need to delete all cookies and clear history. How can you do it? I am going to teach you all these.
If you use internet explorer, select “internet option” from “tools” menu.
A new window will appear on you computer screen. Like the blow screen shout.
Click on cookies button, and then press “yes” button. After that, click on “clear history” button, and again press “yes”
Now press “apply” button, and in last, press “ok” button
After completing the above process, you have to restart you computer.
2. Dial up connection
If you are using a dial up connection you can change you internet speed one by one,
If you find a problem in your connection during your work, you can change your internet speed one by one. If you will be satisfied with one, then press ok. Don’t worry; I am going to teach you everything step by step.
Click on the icon of dial up connection from your desktop
A new window will appear on you computer screen like the below screen shout.
Click on “properties” button”, you will find another new window with the name of “properties” like the below screen shout
Click on “configuration” button which is in properties. Another new window will appear on you computer screen you can see it in the below screen shout. Now you can change and check speed one by one from drop down menu
If you will be satisfied with one, then press ok button.
3. Protect Your Pc Form Internet Viruses
Windows XP have some options from which you can protect your pc form viruses. Let learn them options.
There are two main options
Go to control panel and click on “security center” icon. You will find the below two option in “security center” like the below screen shout.
- Windows firewall
- Automatic update
1 Windows firewall
click on “windows firewall” option. A new window will appear on your computer screen .like the below screen shout.
Select “on [recommended]” option, then press ok button.
2. Automatic update
click on “Automatic update” option. A new window will appear on your computer screen like the below screen shout.
Select “turn off automatic update option” then press “ok” button
